The spring dimensions and stiffness can be identified from the product name and the markings on the side of the spring, using the following format:
AA-(BB-)CCC-DD
for example:
62-(72-)-180-08
AA = Inner diameter of the spring in millimeters
BB = Inner diameter of the other end of the spring in millimeters, if different (e.g. for conical springs)
CCC = Length of the spring in millimeters
DD = Spring rate in kg/mm
S = Barrel spring
V = Conical spring (vehicle-specific special spring)
Please note that when increasing the spring rate, the spring will compress less under load and may need to be shortened to achieve the same ride height, especially in cases where a separate rear spring is used.
High quality BC Racing barrel type spring which has an industry standard 62mm I.D. (inner diameter) in both ends.
Manufactured of SAE9254 steel with zinc undercoating and outer powder coating to ensure rust does not penetrate the spring's metal and compromise performance or reliability.
